Mikayla Makle

My name is Mikayla Makle, I am originally from Waldorf, Maryland. I am an alumna of Washington State University with a degree in English with a certification in Rhetoric and Professional Writing, and a Minor in Art.

As a self taught artist, I have been able to translate my work into drawings, paintings, and photography. Such artistry has even allowed me to apply my skills to the fashion industry. I consider my artistry to be more behind the scenes, as my design portfolio consists of my positionality as a former Editor-in-Chief, Senior Copy editor, Creative Director, and Stylist for Luxe Magazine, a student run magazine through the school’s fashion department.
